Mike Tyson’s new show ‘Return of the Mike’ to run at Hard Rock Casino hotels

The boxing legend Mike Tyson will be bringing his new live show ‘Return of the Mike’ to four Hard Rock Live venues across the country from this November.
The heavyweight boxing champion’s newest venture comes after his previous show ‘Undisputed Truth’ focused largely on his formative years and start of his career. Now, Return of the Mike is reported to go deeper into his life as he shares more about his battles with addiction and mental health.
In this show, he will also revisit his younger self and share wisdom, while reflecting candidly on his celebrated career.

“After Undisputed Truth, people kept asking when I’d return, and now it’s time — no holding back, no filter,” said Tyson in a press release.
“Hard Rock knows how to have a good time and bring people together for unforgettable nights, just like what we’re going to create with this tour. We’re going to have some fun, tell some truths, and remind everyone that I’m still swinging hard.”
Mike Tyson’s Hard Rock show will be taped for streaming service
The run of shows will begin in November and go through to January, with the first being at the Hard Rock Casino Rockford. Next up is the Hard Rock Casino Cincinnati, then the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Hollywood followed by Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Atlantic City.
The performance at the Hollywood property will also be taped for an upcoming special that will go out to a ‘major global’ streaming platform in 2026.
“We’re excited to give Mike Tyson fans exclusive access to one of the greatest athletes in history, in his most honest and entertaining form,” said Keith Sheldon, President of Entertainment and Brand at Hard Rock International and Seminole Gaming.
Ahead of the shows, the boxer will also star in Hard Rock Bet Sportsbook’s fall campaign called The Hard Rock Bet Party. He will be amongst other athletes in the project.

Swedish Gambling Authority closes postcode lottery case

The Swedish Gambling Authority, Spelinspektionen, has decided to shut down an ongoing case into the Swedish Postcode Association.
According to a statement from the regulator, no further action will be taken in the Svenska Postkodlotteriet case that was initially recommended by a report from the Scandinavian nation’s consumer watchdog, Konsumert verket.

Postcode case closed by Spelinspektionen
As part of a news release by Spelinspektionen, the case will go no further for the regulator’s investigative parties. The gambling regulator has instead put the matter to the Secretariat of the Swedish Consumer Ombudsman (KO) to decide on any legal wrongdoing.
“It has not been determined whether the Swedish Postcode Association has violated the Marketing Act. As the circumstances surrounding this have not been clarified, the Swedish Gambling Authority will not proceed with its supervisory case at this time.”
Spelinspektionen has mentioned that the legal red tape involved in the case, which was flagged earlier this year by the Konsumert verket, could redress their position on the Swedish Postcode Association.
The regulator said that if there was a breach by the Postcode Lottery provider and it “has violated the Marketing Act, or other new circumstances emerge, the Swedish Gambling Authority may initiate a new supervisory case.”
Spelinspektionen bans gambling providers
The gambling overseer has also ruled that two gaming operators were active in Sweden without the proper approval and required licenses.
As such, Spelinspektionen has now taken action to ban Ryker BV and Bitx Operations NV from any gaming activity in the nation. The regulator posted identical statements saying both were banned due to “providing games in Sweden without the necessary license.”
We reported that gambling providers in Sweden have faced the wrath of Spelinspektionen for breaching the nation’s strict rules on gambling activity.
WinBet NV, for example, were brought into the regulatory light for providing both games in a link explicitly translated to Swedish and for having the option to accept Sweden’s currency, the krona.
Based in Greece, the site Superb.bet, owned by WinBet, was not licensed to offer these services to Swedish consumers.
“To achieve a well-functioning licensing system, it is crucial that operators without the necessary Swedish gambling license do not market themselves toward the Swedish market,” said Spelinspektionen.
The Swedish gambling authorities are rightly interested in rooting out any operators who are providing unlicensed services.
We reported that gambling revenue across the second quarter of 2025 has contributed SEK 7 billion ($740 million) to the nation’s coffers.

South Korea repatriates casino crime suspects in $3.8B crackdown

South Korean authorities have released a statement marking the repatriation of suspected ringleaders in a 5.3 trillion KRW ($3.8 billion) illegal casino site case.
The National Police Agency revealed that forty-nine suspects had been flown back to South Korea to face investigative proceedings in several ongoing legal cases.
Forty-five of the suspects were notable figures of Interpol Red Notices, and in total, 154 domestic warrants had been issued against these individuals.

The cases spanned the spectrum of the police force’s investigations, including cybercrime, fraud, organized criminal gambling activity, and tax evasion.

“This repatriation sends a clear message that the Philippines will no longer be a safe haven for fugitives, and that criminals who flee abroad will face justice.” – Lee Sang-hwa, South Korean Ambassador to the Philippines

Eleven members were apprehended in relation to one gambling site that had been in operation from 2018, taking in a reported 5.3 trillion KRW ($3.8 billion).
The statement from the South Korean police said “fugitives collectively defrauded 1,322 victims, causing damages of about 60.5 billion KRW ($43 million). Additionally, gambling websites operated by some of the repatriated suspects had a transaction volume of approximately 107 trillion KRW ($77.2 billion).

The operation to bring these alleged wrongdoers back came from the Office of International Cooperation Bureau, part of South Korea’s National Police Agency.
The international arm of the police force worked alongside the Incheon International Airport Police, Incheon Immigration Office, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport, and the Seoul Regional Aviation Administration, to name a few of the bodies that collectively contributed to the repatriation efforts.

South Korean Ambassador Lee Sang-hwa added, “As strategic partners, Korea and the Philippines have achieved an important turning point. This repatriation sends a clear message that the Philippines will no longer be a safe haven for fugitives, and that criminals who flee abroad will face justice.”
One of the individuals apprehended had evaded custody for more than sixteen years, with the rest of the fugitives having a three-year average amount spent in hiding from the National Police Agency.
This repatriation attempt by both nations marks the most significant simultaneous return of fugitives from a single country to face ongoing investigative operations.
Ambassador Lee concluded that the concert of international effort “greatly contributes to the safety of both nations’ citizens. Through the close cooperation of the Embassy, the Philippine Bureau of Immigration, and the Korean National Police Agency, we have further strengthened the framework of bilateral collaboration.”
