How to get a bunch of flowers in Dragon’s Dogma 2

Giving gifts is important in Dragon’s Dogma 2, just as it is in real life, and who doesn’t love receiving flowers? The thoughtful gift that dies within days has got many a human out of a young, short-term spot over the ages and it seems things are no different in video games now.
A bunch of flowers is a solid go-to gift to help you schmooze your way into friendship or even romance with a host of DD2 NPCs. So, while it is easy to pick up single stems, how do we go about making a bunch of them?
How to make a bunch of flowers

Well, what constitutes a bunch would you say – in Dragon’s Dogma 2, a bunch of flowers can be crafted merely by combining two flowers of a different type (there’s probably a science world that would be better there, but I refuse to give Google the business.)
Any, er breed of flowers can be used, Moonglow, Noonbloom, it doesn’t matter in the slightest. Flowers can be found on your travels, left around in nooks and crannies, and can be dropped, get two types and combine them to create a bunch.
Bunches of flowers are perishable however and the second you combine them there is a finite time until they die so don’t craft a bunch until you know yo are going to need it.
Bunches can also be bought from vendors, again these are perishable items so you can’t really stock up on them unless yu have a different fair maiden to woo in every street,
What to use flowers for
You need a bunch of flowers to complete the quest ‘The Gift of the Giving’ that you will pick up in Vernworth. Besides that, use them to gain favor with NPCs.

US SEC ‘seeks $2bn from Ripple Labs’ in XRP lawsuit

The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has approached a judge in New York, seeking to impose a penalty close to $2 billion on Ripple Labs.
Stuart Alderoty, the Chief Legal Officer at Ripple Labs, announced via social media that the SEC has proposed such a substantial fine, with the redacted court documents expected to be publicly available by Mar. 26. According to the SEC’s request, it wants Ripple Labs to be ordered to return $876 million in gains, pay $198 million in prejudgment interest, and a $876 million in civil fines, totaling approximately $1.95 billion.

As you will see when the SEC’s brief is made public tomorrow, they ask the Judge for $2B in fines and penalties. 1/4 https://t.co/HM8dBbn7lp

XRP vs the SEC
This legal battle was initiated in December 2020, when the SEC accused Ripple Labs and its two executives of breaching federal securities laws through their sales of XRP to both large-scale investors and the general public. However, in a decision made last July, Judge Analisa Torres of New York determined that while Ripple’s direct sales to institutions were in violation, the distribution of XRP through exchanges and algorithmic processes did not contravene U.S. regulations.
The SEC’s legal filings argue for a strict stance against similar violations within the cryptocurrency industry, urging the court to deliver a clear message against such infractions. Alderoty has voiced criticisms against the SEC’s actions and mentioned that Ripple Labs plans to submit a formal reply to the SEC’s motion in the coming month, with the SEC highlighting that Ripple’s response must be submitted by no later than April 22, 2024.
XRP is not the only token in the SEC’s crosshairs. Early Ethereum (ETH) advisor Steven Nerayoff has recently expressed serious concerns over the investigation of Ethereum by the SEC. He also noted that the prospects of Ethereum exchange-traded funds (ETFs) might be facing more rigorous examination.
The development follows a price prediction suggesting that XRP may soon see a 25% upward swing to regain its previous price of $0.75. The analysis highlighted the coin’s price being near the 200-day moving average support, and potentially triggering further growth towards the $0.92 mark.

Nasdaq’s Bitcoin ETFs break five-day outflow streak with $15.4M boost

On Monday, Nasdaq-traded spot Bitcoin (BTC) exchange-traded funds (ETFs) witnessed an inflow of $15.4 million, marking a positive shift after five consecutive days of outflows, according to preliminary figures from investment company Farside.
The inflow was predominantly led by Fidelity’s FBTC, which garnered $261.8 million, and was closely followed by BlackRock’s IBIT with a $35.5 million collection. Other ETFs such as BITB, BTCO, EZBC, and BRRR also saw inflows ranging from $11 million to $20 million. Contrarily, Grayscale’s ETF (GBTC) experienced a substantial outflow, losing over $350 million.
The previous week was challenging for these ETFs, with a total outflow of $887.6 million, primarily due to significant withdrawals from GBTC.
What are Bitcoin ETFs?
The launch of nearly a dozen spot ETFs in the U.S. on January 11 offered investors an opportunity to invest in Bitcoin without the complexities of direct ownership and storage. These funds directly invest in Bitcoin and avoid the necessity for position rollovers, distinguishing them from futures-based ETFs introduced in October 2021.
The newfound accessibility to Bitcoin can also potentially boost Bitcoin’s legitimacy and attract a broader investor base, potentially enhancing market liquidity and stability. Furthermore, it simplifies investing in Bitcoin through familiar stock exchange platforms and regulated environments, mitigating some security concerns and allowing tightly regulated institutions to partake in the market.
Since the trading of spot ETFs commenced, the value of Bitcoin has surged by more than 50% to $70,750. On Monday, the price of Bitcoin experienced a more than 4% increase, momentarily exceeding $71,000.
The development follows the recently approved U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs experiencing a day of record-breaking inflows exceeding $1 billion on Mar. 12.

Best mods for Horizon Forbidden West

Now Sony has deemed PC gamers worthy of finally getting their hands on the stunningly beautiful Horizon Forbidden West, a couple of years after it amazed on the PlayStation, we are already beginning to see what PC modders can do with the game to make it even prettier. Here we are going to look at the best mods for Horizon Forbidden West, explain what they do, and help you decide if you want to install them into your own game.
Mods have started appearing that can make a huge difference to how the game looks, as well as ones that can unlock the later stages and the DLC if you have bought it (the DLC kicks in part way through the main story so you cannot play it from the off).
Best Horizon Forbidden West Mods
The majority of mods currently available work on either the look of the graphics or are save games you can add in to help you unlock later areas of the game. As these aren’t true mods as such we will gloss over those and start with some graphical enhancements for Aloy and her universe.
Giorma’s Photorealistic Reshade v1.0

Reshades are always popular mods but also tend to be quite subjective when it comes to whether you like them or not. In case you don’t know Reshade is a program that injects, in layman’s terms, a filter over what you see, sort of like Instagram does in effect, to change the look of the graphics.
This Photorealistic Reshade does a nice job of toning down some of the brightness to give it a more realistic look. We would probably say Photorealistic is a bit of good PR rather than accurate, but it does provide a noticeably different feel to the affair.
No More Yellow Tint

For reasons known only to the devs Horizon Forbidden West seems to have a weird yellow tint to its graphics, a tint that doesn’t seem to be needed, and more importantly, a tint that has been removed with this Reshade from ConsensusAI.
It definitely makes things look more natural. It seems churlish to complain about Horizon’s graphics because they are so good, but that does not mean they cannot be tweaked.
Visuals Enchanced

We are taking the liberty of assuming that this Reshade mod should be called Visuals Enhanced and Enchanced is merely a typo, but that is whatit  is currently called, so who are we to argue?
Visuals Enchances also removes the yellow tint as above but also introduces more tropical greens and photorealistic coloring. At the moment it is probably our favorite graphical enhancement (enchancement?) mod out there.
We will update this page with new, cool mods, as and when they arrive.
